Key Guiding Principles in Programing
Key cross-cutting issues that are integrated in mainstream programming include.
Transparency: FIPA upholds full openness to its staff, beneficiaries, and partners, with respect to its processes, operations, actions, and outcomes. Information sharing and collective responsibility is a fundamental element in self-regulation and development.
Accountability: FIPA upholds accountability to its stakeholders i.e. the intended beneficiaries and the donor community. This means that in all the operations, FIPA ensures full financial and non-financial accountability for all resources that come into its possession or management.
Equity and Gender Parity: FIPA is committed to the elimination of discrimination and marginalization of individuals and peoples by following its Gender Policy, due to their gender, origin, or social status. It works towards the achievement of equity and gender parity in the designing of policies and programs.
Full participation of beneficiaries: FIPA aspires towards promoting empowerment, full and meaningful involvement of its beneficiaries in the designing, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the organization’s policies and programs, at all levels of decision making.
